Infinergy has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice to The Highland Council in respect of a wind energy development situated just north of Halsary Wind Farm next to Loch of Toftingall. A scoping report was submitted in 2019 and subsequent studies and feedback has allowed the developer to refine the plans to a 2 turbine and 40MW battery storage project.
Initial public consultation will take place in person and online with two sessions being held in both Watten and Spittal at the end of January as follows:
Tuesday 31 January 2023, Spittal Community Hall, 13:30 – 19:30
Wednesday 1 February 2023, Watten Village Hall, 13:30 – 19:30
